Chicago Architecture Biennial (Sept. 19): This city-wide architectural event is split into two days, one on September 19th, followed by the second day on November 7th. The event will feature exhibitions and installations at various venues like Chicago Cultural Center, Griffin Museum of Science and Industry, and Stony Island Arts Bank, offering insights into innovative designs and celebrating Chicago's rich architectural heritage.
Chicago Live (Sept. 20 - Sept. 21): Experience over 100 artists, companies and local organizations performing nonstop across 5 stages + making waves by boat, during a free 2-day celebration that transforms Navy Pier into a vibrant showcase of the arts.
Andersonville Vintage Market (Sept. 21): A treasure trove of vintage goods, antiques, and collectibles, offering a nostalgic and delightful shopping experience for those seeking unique finds.
Riot Fest (Sept. 19 - Sept. 21): A high-energy music festival featuring a diverse lineup of bands like Blink-182, Green Day, Weezer, Jack White and more, creating an electrifying atmosphere for music aficionados.
Chicago River Swim (Sept. 21): A Long Swim is a nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for ALS research through open water and marathon swimming events. They have been attempting to hold this event since 2024, with this being the first year the city granted approval, citing that the river meets safety standards. Funds raised will support ALS research at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and swim education programs for at-risk children in Chicago, making it a meaningful and impactful community gathering.
Chicagohenge (Sept. 22): This breathtaking phenomenon is where the sun aligns perfectly with the city's street grid, offering amazing views and a unique Chicago photographic opportunity.
Chicago Gourmet (Sept. 25 - Sept. 28): A culinary extravaganza featuring Chicago's finest chefs and gourmet offerings, creating a delectable experience for food enthusiasts and connoisseurs. Events will take place at the Harris Theater Rooftop at Millennium Park and various iconic venues across the city.

Lifetime Chicago Half Marathon (Sept. 28): A challenging and rewarding race along Lake Shore Drive with views of the Chicago skyline and ending at Jefferson Park, providing runners with a memorable and exhilarating half-marathon experience.
